A BIKE FOR THE WAY RIDERS RIDE
Caledonia doesn't fit in a box nicely, and we like it that way. It was conceived on our Thursday night rides-routes that often play fast and loose with 'road ride.' As we tried to stuff bigger tires into our R5s and streamline our Asperos, a new kind of bike was born.
When we design a bike, we start with our library of tube shapes. These shapes are tubes we've used on other models that we know to have various qualities-aerodynamic, stiff, ultralight, etc.-and they help get us to the refinement stage on a bike more quickly. In the case of Caledonia, we wanted durability, lightweight, and aerodynamics to be in balance and selected a package that achieved the performance demands of this kind of race bike.
Caledonia uses a standard round bar, stem, and seat post, giving riders the option to build their ultimate ride without compromise. Integrated accessory mounts and hidden fender mounts keep the bike's refined lines so you can ride with lights and computers in a downpour and still look fast. Because we all know if it looks fast, it probably is.
Rather than designing multiple versions of the bike with various fit profiles (R5, R-Series, etc.) like we've done in the past, we designed a system that enables a broad range of fits on a single bike while maintaining the aesthetic and functional cleanliness we demand. Modern road riders are looking for bikes to handle long-distance, high pace, no limits, and offer maximum fun. By placing lower modulus carbon in key areas to mitigate the brittleness of hi-mod fiber-the Caledonia delivers performance, comfort, and speed. Oh, and you can fit a 34mm tire in there. Or 31mm with fenders.

HAUL ASS, NOT CARGO
In 2019, Áspero took the gravel world by storm, heralding a “new era of speed in gravel.” Fun, but flat out. The new Áspero remains true to its original brief, but with some improvements: a threaded BB shell, neater cable routing, and a UDH-compatible derailleur hanger for those who want to use SRAM’s Transmission drivetrains. And it’s more aero, of course. In the case of Áspero, aerodynamic performance is less about pure speed as a result of drag reduction, and more about conservation of energy. After a big day in a headwind, the three watts saved over the previous Aspero might add up to one less energy gel your stomach has to digest—WORTH IT.
In addition to the drag reduction, we also dropped the seat stays to give a bit more compliance out back, and reduced front-end stiffness slightly to make the last hours of a long race less painful. Between those dropped seat stays, we added in a bit more clearance for mud, too, taking what we learned from R5-CX (and the Unbound mudfest in 2023). It’s a lot of seemingly small improvements, but they add up to a lot. The result is a bike that feels a lot like the original Áspero, but is faster, more comfortable, and more versatile.
THREADED BOTTOM BRACKET
Aspero uses the asymmetrical T47a threaded bottom bracket we pioneered on R5-CX. It’s a simple, rider-serviceable interface that allows us to deliver the benefits of BBRight in a more user-friendly form.
UNIVERSAL DERAILLEUR HANGAR
We used SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) standard on the new Aspero. It’s ideal if you want to live your best ‘business in the front, party in the back’ life with one of SRAM’s Transmission drivetrains today, and ensures compatibility for future drivetrain developments.
INTERNAL CABLE ROUTING
Aspero shares the same bearing dimensions as R5, Soloist, R5-CX, and Caledonia, which means you can use any combination of bearing caps and stems. Want a super-racy, fully-internal look? Grab the ST31 and HB13 from R5.

We engineered Áspero for pure, unapologetic speed, ready to take down finish lines, KOMs, PRs, and FKTs. A bike built without limits, for the riders looking to test them. It's stiff-Classics-racing stiff and performs like you'd want a road bike to perform off-road. We think that makes sense, and it's what we were trying to do when we were stuffing bigger tires into our existing frames and swapping in aftermarket forks to get a 40mm tire up front.
- Multiple Configurations
We designed Aspero with clearance for up to 700c x 40mm tires or 650b x 49mm tires. Of course, there are variables—rim width, tire casing, and tread depth—which will affect final clearance. We always recommend 4mm of clearance between the tire and frame.
**New Shimano road (not gravel) 12-speed front derailleurs reduce tire clearance in the rear of the frame to 700 x 38c or 650b x 45c.
- Two Position Adjustment
Trail—front-wheel response to rider input—is the most critical factor in high-velocity handling. Flipping the two-position "Trail Mixer" to compensate for the difference in circumference between a 650b and 700c tire maintains consistent handling by maintaining consistent trail figures.
- Balanced Handling
Stiffness and handling work together to ensure the bike tracks predictably and responds immediately to critical pedal and bracing inputs.

Built specifically for riders who are not quite ready for an adult-size bicycle, but have outgrown a 24-inch bike, the Meerkat is their ticket to adventure and independence. The Meerkat is a kid's all-terrain bike that is fast, sleek, and styled to appeal to the 10- to 12-year-old in your life. The 26-inch wheels roll that much faster than 24" and provide a solid platform for taller riders. The Sturmey Archer trigger shifter and 5-speed internally geared hub offer maintenance-free, buttery smooth shifting for thousands of miles. The Meerkat 26 inch is a practical bike, comfortable in urban settings because it's easy to lock up, has no derailleur to get bent in a bike rack, and rolls smoothly over the most pothole-filled route. It's just as capable on a weekend bikepacking trip, just add knobby tires up to 2.35" and your Meerkat is ready to roll for days in the backcountry. To determine the best fit, Cleary suggests measuring your child's inseam and referencing their size chart.
- The Meerkat best fit for riders with an inseam of 22" to 26".
- The Meerkat has a low bottom bracket height, which allows a rider with a 22" inseam to comfortably start out on the Meerkat.
- The seat tube angle on the Meerkat allows the bike fit to grow along with the rider.
- The seat moves up and back as you increase saddle height, so even a 5' tall rider will fit the bike well.

Built with a lightweight 6061 aluminium frame and fast rolling 2.0” tires, the Charger is designed to supercharge their thirst for adventure. A comfortable, finely tuned geometry promotes safety, confidence, and progression while high-grade rims, hubs, and tyres ensure smooth rides and grip in all conditions. Thoughtful design emphasises sustainability, longevity, and performance, making it a durable, eco-friendly choice that inspires many kids to ride for years to come.
- Progression from the first push off
Even for a balance bike, even for a toddler. Because a finely tuned geometry is the difference between a lifetime of riding or a balance bike they can’t be bothered with. Good geometry, the stuff we obsess over, means safety, confidence, progress and, of course, fun. It's a science and an art, and something we have dialled in over 18 years of pioneering kids bike design.
- Lightweight aluminium, beautifully crafted
The Charger is handcrafted from 6061 grade aluminium. And it's not just the parts you can see, we swap more steel and plastic for aluminium than anyone else. Aluminium has one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios of any metals. It's corrosion resistant and has a flexibility that makes it a pleasure to ride. It's also 100% recyclable. All of which makes our Charger and Big Foot models the best for your kids and for all those they're handed down to.
- Roll model
The Charger specs market leading aluminium rims and hubs to save weight and high ABEC grade sealed cartridge bearings to minimise weight and rolling resistance. By specifying such high grade wheel sets, we are able to justify investing weight in tyres that provide the safety and performance that make all the difference, without handing them a weight penalty.
- Tread carefully
The Charger runs fast rolling 2.0” wide tyres to give 2-4 year olds the stability they need to learn, the air volume they need for comfort and the grip to tackle mixed terrain, confidently, even in the rain. Because there’s no such thing as the wrong weather. Only the wrong bike.
- Designed to ride, built to upgrade.
The Charger features an anatomically designed Ritchey bar and stem combo forged from super light, super strong aluminium. And the internal cable routing isn’t just a cool feature. It allows you to upgrade The Charger to a brake controlled bike as they progress. Sold separately, the light pull, short reach, Tektro rear brake upgrade kit ensures brake control comes exactly when the time is right. Controls are a matter of trust. Ritchey Logic have been at the forefront of component design for the past 50 years. Tom Ritchey, its indefatigable president and lead designer, is one of the pioneers credited with the invention of mountain biking, amongst other innovations. We have collaborated for over 10 years, producing the best kids specific components to elevate our bikes.
- Sustain-Ability™
Taking materials out of the ground to make bikes isn't sustainable. Kids bikes are the worst, often unable to last even one child. Early RIder's solution? Simple, a contrary design and manufacturing mandate: 'to sustain ability'.
To sustain the ability to inspire, child after child. To build bikes designed to last and to ensure children can reach the level of skill that makes sure they'll always ride. In other words taking an uncompromising focus on form, function and top quality parts built to last.
To sustain the ability of all those involved in the production of our bikes to live healthy, fulfilled lives. In other words creating safe work environments, promoting employee wellness, supporting communities and upholding human rights through the entire supply chain.

Super Velio is more than just a ride-on, it’s their first step into adventure, designed to grow with them from 10 to 24 months. With revolutionary features like our patented Active Balance Control™ (ABC) system, intuitive ‘point and go’ C-Go steering, and a superlight magnesium frame, it’s all about boundless exploration that builds the strength, coordination, and confidence they’ll carry with them as they grow.
- Kickstart balance skills with Active Balance Control™
Our patented ABC system does something extraordinary: it teaches balance while your little one learns to wobble and wander. Once they start to tip over, the ABC system steps in, guiding them gently back in line, just like training wheels for the tiniest riders. It’s designed to help them stay upright, even without the strength of older kids, making balance and coordination easier to master. This isn’t just about safety, it’s about giving them a chance to learn and succeed on their own terms.
- Dynamic balance for future movers and shakers
Dynamic balance (the ability to stay steady while moving) is crucial for developing confident mobility, and Super Velio delivers it in spades. It gets little legs working from day one, teaching balance through just the right amount of wobble and play. Unlike clunky four-wheelers, this two-wheeled marvel invites toddlers to engage those muscles, building the kind of confidence that makes them want to get up and move. It’s not just a ride, it’s their first taste of true independence.
- Go where curiosity leads
Bella Velio’s C-Go™ rear-wheel steering is designed to feel as natural as crawling, giving little ones the freedom to steer by instinct. Wherever piques their interest, Super Velio follows, letting them roam and explore. With rear steering that’s responsive to every little nudge, they’re building coordination skills long before they even know what ‘steering’ means.
- Spheres, the only way to roll
The Bella Velio’s spherical wheels are what set it apart from any other ride-on. Say goodbye to clunky, tip-prone wheels – these babies roll with balance, slowing down those little wobbles to make it easier for toddlers to stay upright. No tipping, no topples. It’s all about freedom and movement, helping them build coordination and strength from the start. With spherical wheels, they’re in for the smoothest ride, across carpet, gravel, and every little adventure in between.
- Elegant. Strong. Stunning.
Bella Velio’s stunning ply frame is not only elegant but also incredibly durable. With a low centre of gravity and no excess weight to slow them down, toddlers can get rolling without feeling weighed down. This is a frame built to last, so your youngster’s ready to take on whatever the day brings.
- Comfy seat that adapts as they grow
Every adventure needs a comfortable seat, and Bella Velio has it covered. With 15mm of plush foam, a wipe-clean silicone cover, and an ergonomic design that supports them as they grow, this seat is in it for the long haul. It’s easy to adjust as they grow bigger, so they’re always in the perfect spot for balance and comfort. No awkward shifting around, just the freedom to focus on exploring.
- Putting parents (somewhat) in control
Sometimes kids need a little extra guidance. That’s where Super Velio’s removable tiller comes in. It lets parents guide their little ones safely while they’re building their skills, so you can gradually give them more freedom as their confidence grows. Once they’re ready to roll solo, just take it off, and they’re free to roam. It’s the perfect way to balance freedom with a bit of control, so you can be hands-on while they grow more independent.

The Seeker 16 is designed for all-terrain adventures. Its relaxed geometry ensures comfort, stability, and better muscle engagement for longer rides. The Gates Carbon Belt Drive is clean, durable, and maintenance-free for up to 20,000 km. The lightweight 5.95kg aluminium frame provides strength and efficiency while easy-rolling trail specific wheels extend the day while knobbly 2.25" tires guarantee traction no matter the terrain.
- Geometry to get kids moving
A great adventure bike should be comfortable, easy to pedal and stable on changeable terrain. We’ve gone for a relaxed, stable geometry for the Seeker. We want kids to be upright-ish for comfort but still able to engage their core and glutes (the muscles that keep you pedalling for longer.) The front end of the bike (wheel base) is stretched out, making it stable and less likely to flick out unexpectedly if the front wheel hits a curb or tree root. Finally, the stack and reach (the angles of the triangle bit of the frame) are not too high and not too stretched, making descending fun not frightening. Progress comes when those 3 areas of geometry work in harmony.
- A, no rust, no fuss carbon drive train
The Gates Carbon Belt drive is just a brilliant piece of kit. It replaces the traditional steel chain and cassette with a robust, stretch resistant and best of all clean drivetrain. It’s easy to clean, requires almost no maintenance and is good for 20’000km. Paired with a top-tier cassette hub and sealed cartridge bearings, it delivers peak all weather, all terrain performance.
- Wheely great wheels
There’s no point speccing a great bike with terrible wheels. Whether it’s too heavy, too flimsy or simply too unresponsive, a poor quality wheel will suck the joy out of riding with every leg-aching, sluggish pedal stroke. We designed the Seeker with shock absorbing aluminium rims, a small but mighty cassette hub and 20 spokes for strength and stiffness. Power transfer shouldn’t just be for the pros. It keeps legs fresher, for longer. extending the ride for everyone.
- Super lightweight aluminium, beautifully crafted to last for years
We use 6061-grade aluminium in our bikes, It’s a fantastic material. Strong yet light, weatherproof and super robust. It’s also a responsive material transferring more power from the pedals to the wheels. In real terms, this means it’s easier to pedal further for longer. The benefit is a bike that literally goes the distance.
- Tyres that keep them on track
Big adventure requires big tyres and we’re not playing around when it comes to speccing the Seeker. Whether you’re navigating mud, berms, ruts or roots, our 2.25" knobbly tyres deliver traction, control and protection. Bigger tyre volume means more air and therefore more cushioning, so that riding won’t just be safer and more adventurous, it’ll be more enjoyable too.
- Touchpoints that elevate control
Every one of the Seeker’s touchpoints, be that the bars, saddle, pedals or grips has been anatomically designed to properly fit and function for super small riders. Ritchey Logic have been at the forefront of component design for the past 50 years. We’ve collaborated with them for over a decade, producing some of the best age specific components to ever grace a kids’ bike.
- Light, powerful brakes they can trust
Fast fun bikes need quick light brakes because stopping should be as comfortable and fear-free as going. We design The Seeker with powerful, age specific Tektro V brakes with ultra short reach levers and light-pull actuation, making braking easy even for the smallest of hands. Braking feedback is smooth and responsive, helping developing riders understand what smooth stopping feels like when the riding picks up. The all aluminium lever construction ensures the brakes aren’t at risk should the bike inevitably be dropped to the ground.
$749.00
Beautiful and tough, the Seeker X16 combines hydraulic disc brakes, rigid forks, and sliding dropouts to create an adventure bike that’s agile, fast and fun. Featuring the grease-free, low-maintenanceGates Carbon Belt Drive, offering maintenance free riding for up to 20’000km. The relaxed geometry ensures comfort and stability for adventurous kids while MTB wheels with sealed bearings and double-wall rims offer durability and multi-kid riding.
- A beautifully crafted, hard as nails disc brake frame set
With its powerful hydraulic disc brakes, rigid forks and sliding dropouts the Seeker X16 puts some adult MTBs to shame. The Seeker X16 is light and responsive thanks to the 6061-grade aluminium we spec all our bikes with. While the sliding dropouts give little rippers adaptable handling as they progress. Spec'd with 140mm hydraulic disc brakes, weighing just 65g, progressive young riders get stopping power they can trust when the trail gets technical.

There’s no point speccing a great bike with weak wheels. And the double wall rims, optimised spoke count and corrosion resistant fully sealed bearing hubs mean these wheels rip. There’s no risk of buckles or wheel dings with double wall rims and a spoke count designed for the rigours of trail riding, without losing any performance on tightly packed gravel and tarmac. The 4 Bearing Hub is pleasingly buzzy, just like the big kids.

Every one of The Seeker X16’s adventure optimised touch points are built to save weight without compromising on comfort. We’ve collaborated with the brilliant Ritchey Logic to deliver a perfect fit ergonomic saddle, combined with ultra light weight seat post and quick release clamp. The double butted aluminium bars are strong, light and small enough for mini rippers to keep control.
- Light, powerful hydraulic disk brakes
At 65g, the 140mm hydraulic powered disc rotors mean business. Because sending it relies on stopping it. With partially rounded edges and 6 bolts you’re also guaranteed extra safety even when you’ve stopped. The brake levers features a lightweight, and most importantly, adjustable action to accommodate little hands, We also made the decision to replace the brake fluid with mineral oil. It’s less corrosive and a bit kinder on the environment.

The Seeker 20 is a lightweight, durable kids' MTB featuring 160mm hydraulic disc brakes, Box Four 1x 8 speed gearing and trail optimised geometry for progressive young riders. With a spec list that puts some adult MTBs to shame, the Seeker 20 is optimised for performance up and down the trail. With trail specific tubeless compatible wheels, sealed hubs and double wall rims, you’re guaranteed performance, power and reliability in the smallest of packages.
- A beautifully crafted, hard as nails disc brake frame set
With its powerful hydraulic disc brakes, rigid forks and sliding dropouts the Seeker 20 puts some adult MTBs to shame. The Seeker 20 is lightweight and responsive, weighing just 8.6kg thanks to the 6061-grade aluminium we spec all our bikes with. While the sliding dropouts give developing riders adaptable handling that aids progression. Spec'd with 160mm hydraulic disc brakes, progressive riders are treated to stopping power they can trust when the trail gets technical.
- Simple, safe, reliable, a drive train they can trust
The simple Box Three 1x8 speed groupset eliminates the need for a front derailleur, keeping the Seeker 20 reliable, low weight and easy to maintain. The rear derailleur clutch keeps the chain firmly in place, preventing chain slap damaging the frame, contributing to a safe, stable ride while reducing the chance of their chain snapping.
- Planted, confident and room to move
Not too long, not too high, the Seeker 20’s geometry is just the right mix of performance and control to help youth riders develop. As they start to tackle technical trails, our optimised geometry allows them to move with, and around the bike - edging forward as the trail ticks up, and leaning back as they descend. The ride feels planted and confident with room to manoeuvre.
- MTB wheels that go hard
Fully sealed bearing hubs, tubeless compatible, double wall rims and optimised spoke count means these wheels rip. Because there’s no point speccing a great bike with weak wheels. The sealed bearings keep mud, water and corrosion at bay while double wall rims give you twice the confidence on rocks and roots. The optimised spoke count means you won’t have to worry about buckled wheels while quick release axles makes the rare times you do need to swap tyres a breeze.
- Touchpoints that elevate control
Every one of the Seeker 20’s MTB optimised touchpoints are built to save weight without compromising on comfort. The distinctive Early Rider wing saddle gives comfort, confidence and control no matter where they land while the Richey double butted bars are lightweight and robust, making this combo the holy grail of heavy landings. Ritchey Logic have been at the forefront of component design for the past 50 years. We’ve collaborated with them for over a decade, producing some of the best age specific components to ever grace a kids’ bike.

The Furtado is more than a bike, it's your partner in grime. From winding singletrack to burly rock gardens, the unmatched maneuverability of the Furtado makes it the perfect dirt-ally for every escape.

From the lighter-tuned rear suspension that ensures full use of the travel to the nimble geometry and selection of build kits, the Furtado puts you in control.
Make every second carved from a busy day count. Snake through the tight switchback, then eye up the ledge that's had your number for far too long. The question was never if you'll clear it, but when. The Furtado's balanced design and controlled feel turns to-do lists into just-did-that lists, and questions of when into exclamations of let's do it again!

The Unit X has become a cult favorite among die-hard Kona fans. Maybe it's the Cromoly frame. Maybe it's the fact that it's a bike packing monster, or its well-geared 12-speed drivetrain, or modular dropouts which give you the ability to run it as a single speed if that's your thing. Maybe it's because the rigid fork makes it that much more of a classic. We may never know why the Unit X is such a popular bike, but we can only guess it's because it is one of the most practical machines in our lineup.
REYNOLDS 520 CROMOLY
Reynolds 520 tubes are mandrel-butted for accurate profiles and available in a wide range of shapes. Weight savings from butting provides competitively priced, light framesets that are noticeably compliant on the road or the trail, and are guaranteed to last a lifetime.
INTERNAL HEADSET
Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible.
44mm HEAD TUBE
44mm headtubes are a versatile spec which works with both straight and tapered steerers by switching out the lower headset cup. The stock configuration is internal and is for 1 1/8" steerer. Switching to an external lower cup allows for the use of a tapered 1.5" steerer. The best of both worlds.
TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS
Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems.
12x148mm AXLE
12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted.

The Sutra is many things. It's functional. It's stylish. It's incredibly versatile, and it comes ready for the long haul on the bike tour of your dreams. It's a modern take on the classic touring bike. It's a grocery getter that's easy on the eyes. It's the feeling of steel across pavement that reminds you why you love turning the cranks on long rides. Just like its name suggests it's the perfect guide for your every ride.
KONA CROMOLY
Very few materials offer as much shock absorption, durability and supple-ride characteristics as steel. We've never strayed from cycling's original material and have worked tirelessly to adapt, refine and innovate Kona Cromoly framesets as rider demands continue to evolve.
TAPERED HEAD TUBE
More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed.

Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems.

Boost spacing provides more tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle.
650b WHEELS
650b wheels and tires have a similar overall diameter to a traditional 700c gravel or commuting tire, but with a smaller diameter rim and a wider, taller tire. The extra air volume in this new generation of urban and mixed-surface tires means they can be run comfortably at lower pressures while still rolling quickly on a variety of surfaces. It's the best of both worlds.
